The Project Planning & Implementation Unit (PPIU) is managed by the PPIU Manager. Its main objective is to evaluate, design, and implement all the infrastructure construction on Mahe.
The unit’s scope includes receiving requests for projects and attending to their design, costing, implementation, and management. These range from small projects to multimillion-rupee projects for both the government and private sectors.
The unit is responsible for all capital projects within the Agency, overseeing the entire process from carrying out engineering assessments and proposing the appropriate design for implementation, to the final delivery of the completed project.
