𝐀 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡At SLTA, being ready to respond is part of the daily routine and even while delivering our normal services, the different teams must remain prepared to respond quickly, efficiently and effectively to any road damage alert. A state that keeps most of the staff under stress as emergencies are never on the planned schedules.In recognition of the 2026 World Mental Health Day, SLTA took the time to pause and re-connect to our childhood times, where there was none of the stress, by playing a wide range of board games. Through active, healthy competition and shared laughter, the agency took care of the people who serve the public when least expected. We learned new things about ourselves as well:1. Playing Jenga against engineers when you are not one is foolish2. To prevent damage to the walls, place a dartboard on the Notice board, some people will miss the dartboard completely 3. Ludo seems like an innocent game until mischievous people play it4.
