This section of road is badly affected with every severe high tide. At the moment part of the road is not visible as it is covered by sand. The project is to construct a sea wall with a bullnose parapet wall on top to ensure the road can be used safely. Huge boulders will be placed outside the wall to prevent undermining of the wall during erosion and tidal waves. The project is at design stage.
